Eline Mets has worked professionally in film and television since 2007. She created, wrote, directed and produced and starred in Diaries of Badass Chicks, which won TELUS STORYHIVE funding in 2017 and was released in 2018; and wrote, directed, produced and acted in the short film Fear Thy Bike aka Killer Dirtbikes.
Starting out as a Crime show reporter (“Raport”) and a production assistant for the highest rated prime time news show in Estonia (Kanal 2, “Reporter”) in 2007, Eline’s television work in Estonia includes foreign-news editing, reporting, segment production, directing, story editing, producing and video editing.
Eline wrote, directed and story-edited 23 episodes of TV3’s prime-time factual series Kaua Võib and produced and edited additional television segments for both Kanal 2 (Channel 2) and TV3 (Viasat). She served as the main foreign news editor for TV3’s prime time news show Seitsmesed Uudised from 2011-2013.
In Canada, she has also worked on other independent productions as a producer and assistant director, including 1st AD / co-producer on Suite Harmony and 2nd AD on B-Side.
